While costs range from a few hundred dollars for accents to a few thousand dollars for a full vehicle wrap, the final tally depends on your specific needs. This includes the vehicle size, how much of the vehicle is being wrapped, the film you select, the complexity of the process based on the current color of your car, and installation.
You should expect your car wrap to last roughly five years, depending on the finish and proper maintenance. There is a 60-month durability with the product. We suggest removing at 5 years to avoid any damage to your vehicle's paint upon removal. Additionally, based on the tough Winters in Colorado with use of magnesium chloride and frequent days of sunshine, it is best to remove the wrap at 5 years to avoid fading or other damage.
Car wrap film is thin and flexible, which allows it to conform beautifully to the contours of your vehicle. So while it can be applied over imperfections, like paint chips, be aware that it will conform to them – not cover them. Before spending the time and money to wrap a damaged or rusted vehicle, we recommend repairing it first.
When used, applied, maintained and removed according to 3M and Avery Dennison instructions and within the product’s 3M and Avery Dennison Warranty Period, should not damage an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) paint finish upon removal.
Wax is a compound that you are stuffing into the pores of the vinyl which can’t escape. Therefore, it further submerges into the film and can accelerate the breakdown rate of your Vinyl. Therefore, we do not recommend using wax on vinyl wraps. However, you can use liquid sealant products that create a barrier over the surface of the film, that prevent a fallout and run-off.

Use a waterless wash that is recommended for matte finishes. It’s important to avoid using waterless wash product that are not made for Matte Finish and contain wax because they will fill in the texture and cause shiny spots. A lighter matte finish will be prone to showing more dirt than other finishes. Use a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water to spot clean matte finish films. If the alcohol and water mix does not remove dirt, you can try using a hot soapy water solution. You can also try an all-purpose cleaner purchased at your local hardware store.

Think of it as a case for your cell phone. Ceramic Coating works as a sealant creating a hard shell to protect against scratches, chips, and swirl marks. It is a long last wax that will prevent water stains, road grime, bird droppings, and other contaminants from reaching and harming the paint. With a quick rinse, they’ll simply slide right off.
